How I Started in the Industry
I began working in a tattoo shop when I was 18 years old. At first I learned how to run a tattoo shop by Sailor Don in Newport, RI. I learned later that he was a famous tattooer and pioneer in the industry. From there I moved around the United States working in many shops.
My Piercing Journey
It wasn't until I spent over a decade in the industry that I found a piercer I really liked and became his apprentice. I spent about a year studying under him before I began piercing. I've been piercing now for over 20 years. I specialize in multiple piercings in a single area of the body, male and female genitalia, and surface bars.
Running My Own Shop
When I moved to Atlanta I opened a shop with a business partner, after 12 years I decided to sell my share and moved back to Augusta. I worked in a shop for 3 years before opening my own shop, Redeemed Piercings by Billy. It has been a journey to get here, and I am doing what I love!
Quality Jewelry and Needle Only Piercings
I have only titanium jewelry in the shop to ensure quality for all body piercings. This is a gun-free establishment, I use only needle's for all piercings including ear lobes.
